truemors.com/?p=26350A retail chain in Germany sells clothes which have RFID tags that wirelessly communicate data about you to the store. Did you know that in Korea, you can order a hamburger wirelessly from a special table touch-pad menu and pay for your meal using your cell phone? That’s McDonald’s RFID ordering system. However cool it may seem, there is a concern among some, that retailers could link your credit card data and possibly other personal data to an RFID tag in a product, allowing you to be identified when you return back to a store. Wouldn’t it be even better if you had the option to opt out or deactivate the tag, afterall whose paying for the clothes.
